Today, another poem.
This one is taken from the first Proost poetry collection, published in 2014, when the world was different, but the same.
‘Learning to love’ was the first time we started to think of Proost as a community, but it has taken us a while to get back to this idea.
I never met the poet, Jaime. I don’t even know if they are male or female, but the poems they sent to this project have stayed with me.
(Jaime, if you happen to see this, do get in touch!)
Into My Wilderness, by Jaime Gjerdingen
You are the Lord of blown apart places
Desolate places,
Places without hope.
You are there,
Sitting,
On my soul's heap of ash.
You are.
Stability
Bringing support.
You Are.
Silence
Bringing thought
You Are.
With me bringing
My arising.

Was it really 2014?
Great choice. Wonderful experience having poetry included in that collection. It was my first taste of this curative community.
Thanks for the reminder.
